Course Title: Private Voice Lessons (Ann Paris, instructor)
Course Description: This individualized voice course offers private vocal instruction designed to enrich a student’s fine arts education. This course focuses on developing proper vocal technique, music literacy, and performance skills. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s age, experience level, and learning style. Core areas of focus may include posture and breath support, pitch accuracy, tone quality, diction, dynamics, and expressive interpretation. Students will work on an age-appropriate repertoire from various genres. Basic music theory, sight-singing, and ear training are integrated into the curriculum. We can also work on All-State Honor Chorus prep, National Teachers of Singing NATS competitions, and auditions. This course fosters confidence, discipline, creativity, and self-expression, supporting well-rounded academic and personal growth.
Ages: 10-18
Lesson Format: Weekly, 30-minute lessons, billed monthly at $150
Location: In-person
Educational Objectives: Strengthen foundational vocal technique and breath control; develop musicianship skills, including pitch, rhythm, and sight-reading; foster self-confidence and stage presence.
Course Title: Private Piano Lessons (instructor Ann Paris)
Course Description: This course provides individualized piano instruction for students ages 10–18. Lessons focus on building strong technical foundations, music literacy, and expressive performance skills. Instruction is customized to the student’s age, experience, and learning style. Core areas of study include correct posture and hand position, finger technique, scales, rhythm, sight-reading, and artistic interpretation. Students gain confidence, discipline, and creativity while strengthening cognitive and fine motor skills.
Ages: 10-18
Lesson Format: Weekly, 30-minute lessons, billed monthly at $150.
Location: In-person
Educational Objectives: Demonstrate correct piano posture, hand position, and finger technique. Apply music literacy skills, including reading notation, rhythm, and dynamics. Perform age-appropriate repertoire with accuracy and musical expression. Integrate basic music theory and ear training into their playing. Develop independent practice habits and goal-setting skills.
