Step behind the curtain – or into the booth – and discover what it takes to bring a musical to life as the director’s right hand. In this immersive, hands-on course, one student will work closely with Miss Ysa to stage a complete musical production in a collaborative learning environment.  Students will gain practical experience in every stage of live theater, including:

• Auditions and casting
• Script analysis and concept development
• Blocking, staging, and directing
• Technical theater basics
• Costumes, props, and set design
• Production roles, leadership, and responsibility

The course culminates in a live performance for the community and our friends and family, giving the student an opportunity to showcase their work. Perfect for aspiring directors and stage managers who want to learn by doing and build real-world experience.
