Location: Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Pkwy

Tuition: $150 (includes ten 2-hour sessions and the performance)

Registration Fee: $25 (one registration fee per form, nonrefundable)

Step behind the curtain – or into the booth – and discover what it takes to bring a play to life as the director’s right hand. In this immersive, hands-on course, one student will work closely with Miss Ysa and the cast to stage a complete minimalist production in a collaborative learning environment.  Students will gain practical experience in every stage of live theater, including:

• Auditions and casting
• Script analysis and concept development
• Blocking, staging, and directing
• Technical theater basics
• Costumes, props, and set design
• Production roles, leadership, and responsibility

The course culminates in a live performance for family and friends, giving the student an opportunity to showcase their work. Perfect for aspiring directors and stage managers who want to learn by doing and build real-world experience.
